WalkAbout Computers Annonces Integrated Bluetooth Option

West Palm Beach, FL, October 2004 — WalkAbout Computers is pleased to announce the Bluetooth FlexSpace option is now available for the Hammerhead XRT and RT933 computers. By utilizing the Bluetooth FlexSpace (OEM) option, both PC card slots are available for other radio options such as Wi-Fi, CDMA and GRPS. The Bluetooth FlexSpace option is a CLass 2 (range up to 30m) Bluetooth device compliant with Bluetooth Specifications 1.1.

The Bluetooth option supports the following profiles:

• DUN (Dial-Up Networking)
• LAN access
• FTP (File Transfer)
• Fax
• Serial
• Object Push
• HCRP (Hardcopy Cable Replacement Profile)
• Headset
• PAN - Personal Area Networking; PANU - Personal Area Netowrk User; NAP - Network Access Point; GN - Group Adhoc Network
