WalkAbout Computers Introduces More Powerful Hammerhead XRT Rugged Tablet PC

West Palm Beach, FL, January 15, 2004 — WalkAbout Computers, Inc. a leading manufacturer of rugged tablet computers for mobile workers in the utility, public safety/EMS and other vertical markets, introduced its newest Hammerhead XRT rugged Tablet PC today.

The Hammerhead XRT now sports a powerful 933 MHz Mobile Intel Pentium III Processor-M.  This new configuration has been incorporated in order to continue to meet the requirements of our customer base, providing them with ultra-rugged computers that assure fast, accurate data transfer.
