DRS’s Handheld Terminal Unit (HTU-EK) provides a lightweight, ultra-rugged, fully sealed computing device. The HTU-EK is a product based solely on commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) technology, providing the most cost-efficient solution for the battlefield. The HTU-EK’s
design meets the most demanding V3 environmental requirements, to include MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-461 compliance. HTU-EK optional configurations include embedded TCIM, and embedded SAASM GPS.
